get a Tattoo

in the Pekkerei

You’d like to get a tattoo?
Here you’ll find general information on the procedure.

We look forward to implement your ideas. As tattoos are very personal and individual, we prefer to meet directly with the customer beforehand for a consultation. This way, we can exchange ideas with one another and let the creative juices flow. You can come in for a personal consultation at any time during opening hours.

This consultation is free of charge.

As many different artists work in our studio, covering nearly all styles, we can fulfill just about any wish you may have. Waiting times will vary, depending on the artist.

Through our cooperation with international tattoo artists, it is possible for us to make appointments on short notice. You are welcome to come in and get an impression of our works – perhaps you’ll also discover your favorite tattoo artist. Simply stop by our studio and allow yourself ample time, as we never know how busy we’ll be, or if more consultation time is needed.

Important:
For a fixed, binding appointment, we require a flat-rate deposit of €100,- which will be put toward the final price. Out-of-town customers may make appointments by e-mail, with deposit made via bank transfer.

Tattoo Care

A long-lasting tattoo is not just the responsibility of the tattoo artist, but also of the tattoo wearer. For long enjoyment of your tattoo, please observe the following!

  • Carefully remove the wrapping after about 2-3 hours
  • Now wash the tattoo area with lukewarm water and a PH-neutral or mild soap
  • Carefully dab the area with a clean cloth, or allow to air dry. Do not rub!
  • Apply a small amount of Pegcare Tattoo Creme 3-4 times daily for 14 days, optimally washing the tattoo area before applying the creme for the first 2-3 days
  • For the first 2 nights, cover the area with plastic foil if needed
  • For the first 2 weeks, you should completely avoid direct sun, chlorinated water, visits to solariums or saunas, and ocean or lake water.
  • And use caution with animal hair!
  • Do not scratch the area!!!
